Warehouse of Fixtures Acquires Office Furniture Resources St. Louis Operations

Same great people, Same great products, Same great service, New name.

As of February 7th, 2019  Warehouse of Fixtures has acquired the St. Louis operations of Office Furniture Resources.

Office Furniture Resources (OFR) has been a leader in the used and refurbished office furniture Midwest market for 28 years.  In that time, they have developed a strong customer base, talented staff and solid reputation for value priced office furniture.  Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, OFR has several satellite locations including a presence in St. Louis for nearly 20 years.  Over the past 5 years, OFR has had strong growth in the St. Louis market as well as tremendous growth in their primary markets of Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee.

The long distance and effort required to maintain a high level of service in St. Louis was more challenging than providing that same level of service in their home markets.  After careful consideration, Tom and Suzanne Quinlan (the owners of OFR) decided that their team and clients would be best served by selling their St. Louis operations to a company that would continue to focus on caring for their clients and staff at a local level.

Warehouse of Fixtures, headquartered in St. Louis, was a natural fit.  With a similar product focus, OFR clients would have uninterrupted service.   The strong people-centric culture at WOF would ensure that the OFR staff had a place to continue to work and grow.

David Singer, President of Warehouse of Fixtures, felt that the similarity in business model and culture made OFR’s customers and team a great addition to WOF’s growing company.   Although this would be WOF’s second acquisition in less than 6 months, the management team of WOF felt that the opportunity to add more talent to the team was too good to pass up.

In acquiring OFR’s St. Louis operations, it also afforded both companies a much closer relationship moving forward.  OFR’s focus on refurbished Steelcase Answer and WOF’s focus on refurbish Steelcase Avenir and Herman Miller Ethospace gives both companies’ clients access to the region’s widest selection of cost-effective and environmentally sustainable office furniture options.
